For data corrections, methodology comments, source suggestions, or citation and licensing questions.

Data corrections

When reporting an error in a constituent price, an annual index value, or an interpolation flag, include the year, the constituent identifier, and the primary source you believe the value should come from. Citations to the issuing agency's publication or series page are most useful.

Methodology comments

When commenting on the method, identify the rule involved: basket selection, wage denominator, equal weighting, quality adjustment, missing-observation handling, or rebalancing. The methodology page sections each rule so it can be referenced directly.

Source suggestions

When suggesting an alternative primary source for a constituent, state the constituent, the proposed source (agency and series identifier), the time coverage from 1980 forward, and how it satisfies the basket selection rules.

Citation and licensing

The suggested citation is on the methodology page. For licensing or specific use-case questions, describe the intended use briefly so the response can be specific.
